About The Event
Learning Objectives for Part 1:
At the end of this workshop, the learner will be able to:
[1] Explain how to adapt either written or verbal informed consent related to age of the patient, role of the family member, and/or the treatment setting.
[2] Identify at least 3 special considerations related to record keeping/documentation practices and record keeping when working with pediatric patients or their families as part of an interprofessional team.
[3] Describe at least 2 ways to balance protection of confidentiality with release of information and collaboration with multidisciplinary team members in pediatric healthcare settings.
[4] Become familiar with Tennessee specific laws and resources related to abuse and neglect reporting for children and adolescents.
